Over 118 million girls around the world are out-of-school and never learn to read or write in their first language. Meanwhile, most people who have the opportunity to learn a third or fourth language on their phones every day rarely use it.

Idea
Duolingo, in partnership with UNICEF, sheds light on millions of girls worldwide who are out of school. By staying committed to their own language learning, users help support girls’ education globally. Keep your streak to start hers.

The streak section inside the app will contain information about the campaign, along with the CTA Start Her Streak. 
Additionally, the streak calendar will display pink instead of the usual blue, to highlight each day the user contributes to the cause.
